Ms. Grooms

I have been teaching for 21 years.  Oddly enough, my entire teaching career has been at Lasley Elementary School.  I received my BA in Liberal Arts from Colorado Christian University.  I received my MA in Curriculum and Instruction for English Language Learners from the University of Colorado at Denver.  I feel that being a teacher is such a privilege.  I feel honored each year when parents allow me to spend 7 hours a day with their children teaching, nurturing, and inspiring them.  Seeing the growth that each child makes each year puts a smile on my face and a glow in my heart, and that is why teaching enriches my life every day.

In my spare time, I continually like to learn more about American History.  I am a Civil War, and World War II enthusiast.  I enjoy reading biographies and watching documentary films.  Traveling has also become a new passion of mine. I am always open to trying and learning new things.

 Mrs. Arnolt

Hi, I am Morgan Arnholt.

This will be my third year teaching. It has been a privilege to teach here at Lasley in Kindergarten for these few but wonderful years (and many more to come).  I received my BA in Special Education from Colorado Christian University and dual-licensed in Special Education and Elementary Education.  Every year, I am blown away with the growth students make in one year and watch in amazement as our kiddos continue to learn and make new connections.

My interests and hobbies are being outdoors, hiking, and camping.  I love a new adventure, whether it be a festival, show, or travel I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

       Ms Countryman
Greetings from 197! I am Tracy Countryman, and am so happy to be a Kindergarten and First Grade Teacher! My personal goal is to create an environment that is safe and inviting for students, so they can set their minds on learning all of their letters and sounds and learn to read. Of course, reading is not the ONLY thing your child will learn, but teaching reading is my favorite part of the day.
When I am not at school, I’m with my family: my husband Mike is a very easy-going fellow, and my daughter Anna is an active 4th grader. My mom lives 15 minutes away from us and showers us with home-cooked meals often. I am really fortunate to have a family that is loving and supportive. In our spare time we like to recreate together: hiking, biking, skiing, playing the piano and guitar, and traveling are our favorite things to do.
One last thing: the door is always open!
