Ms. Lers Bozzy My name is Jill Bozzy and I am the learning specialist here at Lasley Elementary. I have been teaching at Lasley for the past 5 years, and teaching overall for 15 years. I have taught in early childhood all the way up to middle school. I moved from Orlando, Florida in 2006 and love my home here in the Denver area. I love hiking, animals and travel in my spare time, when I am not helping children to aspire to be their best!

Mrs. Christopher
I was born in Wheatridge Colorado. I grew up in Arvada Colorado. My husband and I have been married twenty-seven years. We have a son, daughter, son in law and two grandchildren. My son who is twenty six has high functioning autism, and continues to teach me new things every day. I have adopted many shelter pets; both dogs and cats. I graduated from Jefferson county public schools.

My degrees come from Regis university here is Denver Colorado. My teacher licenses include; special education, elementary education, English language arts, culturally and linguistically diverse learners, with highly qualified certificates in autism and gift/talented. I enjoy and have a passion for working with students on the autism spectrum and other disabilities. I do this work, to teach students and their families about their disabilities and how to use their strengths to overcome and succeed in life and educational endeavors.

 Ms. Knackstedt

I’m thrilled to start the year and I’m especially excited to see all of our Lasley Lions that are going to be a part of our community of learners and leaders.
I have been a Speech Pathologist in JEFFCO for approximately 9 years. Before I was a part of the JEFFCO family, I found my passion in working with Exceptional children as a Special Educator as well as a Speech Pathologist deep in the heart of Texas.
I was blessed to be a part of a large family consisting of older brothers in Southern New Mexico.
I earned an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders as well as a Masters’ degree in Speech Pathology and a Masters’ degree in Special Education at New Mexico State University.
My mother was a huge influence on my chosen profession and she introduced me to the exciting world of education.
In my free time, you will catch me spending time with my four legged roommates, riding my road bike, listening to country and classical music, as well as skiing wherever the flakes are falling.
