Alameda 6th Grade Transition Results Thank you all for your participation in the recent community meetings and voting process regarding the potential for a 6th grade transition in the Alameda area. Following a thorough process which included community meetings, school accountability conversations, and a vote by stakeholders in the area, the district has determined this transition to be overwhelmingly against the wishes of the Alameda community.
The 6th grade students in the Alameda area will remain in the elementary schools. 6th grade will not transition to Alameda International.
Gracias a todos por su participación en las recientes reuniones comunitarias y el proceso de votación sobre el potencial para una transición de sexto grado en el área de Alameda. Después de un proceso exhaustivo que incluyó reuniones comunitarias, conversaciones de responsabilidad escolar y un voto de las partes interesadas en el área, el distrito ha determinado que esta transición es abrumadoramente contra los deseos de la comunidad de Alameda.
