Third Grade

Mr. Christenson  Hi my name is Nick Christenson, and I feel so fortunate to be in the profession of teaching. I love learning and continuing to learn through life and adventure. All students make this process even more exciting. I grew up in Minnesota and South Dakota where I would spend much of my time hunting and fishing and enjoying any adventure. I moved to Colorado 10 years ago to become a teacher and enjoy the skiing. Soon after receiving my diploma from Colorado Christian University I started my career working with students with emotional or behavioral needs. The following year I was a 4th grade teacher. I now am a 3rd grade teacher and I love every minute of it. Colorado is one of the most special states in all of the country and I enjoy sharing my love for our world and our state as much as I can. Making connections to ourselves, others, our world, what we read, and even things on t.v. or events around the world empowers us to grow and learn. As students we continue to grow and make connections in our world to inspire us to be innovative, reflective, and creative. I hope to inspire all students and help change the world and how we see it, one student at a time.

Mrs. Conant Hello! My name is Stephanie Conant and I am a third grade teacher. This year I will be starting my fifth year of teaching. Before teaching third grade, I taught second grade for three years at another Jefferson County Public School. Over the summer, I completed my Master’s Degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. Since I recently completed this degree, I am excited to start this school year off with more strategies and ways of thinking in order to support language learners as well as all students in my classroom. When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family, friends, and my dog Luna.

Mrs. Pilloud My name is Ms. Pilloud and I am a third grade teacher. I have been teaching at Lasley for fourteen years. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, music, movies and doing yoga. I love teaching because of the amazing kids I have the chance to get to know. They teach me something new every day. Lasley is an amazing place and I feel lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community.
